DESCRIPTION :

• Job Summary and Mission
• This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and contributes to strategic investment planning of the group including the development and assessment of new business opportunities, strategic alliances and joint ventures.
• Primary responsibilities include providing research, financial modeling & analysis, presentation creation, and due diligence to assist in the evaluation, decision-making, and execution of new business or investment opportunities in line with key business strategies

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :

• Performs detailed financial analysis and builds financial models on the projects on offer.
• Provides analytical support for strategic alliances and other deal negotiations.
• Creates presentations for senior leaders to facilitate and influence decision-making processes.   
• Researches and analyzes benchmark companies’ financial statements, industry, regulatory and economic information.
• Compiles public market information and analyst reports, and market transactions.
• Supports and conducts business and financial due diligence of new and existing business partners for potential business opportunities, strategic alliances, joint ventures and new product categories.
• Helps coordinate with relevant functions regarding key accounting, legal and tax related issues.
• Identifies, analyzes, and communicates trends and issues affecting the business.
• Assists in implementing and maintaining best practice corporate development tools and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Financial analysis, industry and company research (5 years)
• Investment banking/analysis, valuation and financial modeling (2-3 years)
• CFA qualification shall be added advantage.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES :

• Advanced financial modeling skills, including prior experience with business forecasting models,
• Familiarity with the business and securities valuation including accretion/dilution
• Solid foundation in corporate finance and accounting principles, with strong financial analysis and planning skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word applications
• Ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams  
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team under minimal guidance
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
• Keen attention to detail
• Familiar with the use of Bloomberg as a primary research tool.
