Head of Product Program Value Chain Job (Vice President Level) (Banking Industry)
Our client is a joint venture banking company that is seeking the right candidate to fill the position of head of product program value chain. The winning candidate will possess a broad knowledge of the banking industry and have significant exposure to the specialized needs of key industries, particularly oil and gas, transportation, heavy equipment and telecommunications. A key component will be tailoring packages to maximize the profitability of existing corporate clients, as well as developing new lending products to attract new business.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Define value chain product strategy and roadmap
- Develop/maintain value chain products
- Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
- Develop the core positioning and messaging for the products
- Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
- Deliver a monthly revenue forecast
- Develop sales tools and collateral
- Propose an overall budget to ensure success
- Brief and train the sales force and credit risk team
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (min.) in related discipline
- Five years' experience (min.) in developing financial products and marketing them
- Significant knowledge of the banking needs of clients in a number of key industries, particularly oil and gas, transportation, heavy equipment and telecommunications
- Knowledge in risk management is a plus
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience in market analysis
- Fluent in English, both written and oral
