We are currently working with a developing joint-venture bank that is looking for a high-quality individual to fill the role of bank relationship manager in Surabaya, East Java. The winning candidate will be expected to grow the wholesale banking business in Surabaya and the province of East Java by maximizing relationships with existing clients and acquiring new customers.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Acquiring top-tier corporate clients with annual turnovers of at least Rp 1.5 trillion in East Java
- Understanding client needs and aspirations
- Developing relationships with existing clients to acquire new business
- Identify cross-selling opportunities
- Work with product partners and risk management for value added banking solutions for our clients
- Perform risk and credit analysis
- Ensure credit application papers and loan reviews are well managed
- Maintain compliance with laws, regulations and company policy
- Meet revenue targets
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (min.), preferrably in finance/business
- Four years' experience (min.) in large commercial or wholesale banking is a must
- In depth knowledge of credit and risk analysis
- Ability to identify capital needs of corporate clients
- Knowledge of business syndication is an advantage
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Result oriented
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Persuasive
- Competitive but honest, trustworthy and customer oriented
- Deep understanding about the East Java market
- Willing to be based in Surabaya
- Fluent in English
