PLANT HR Assistant Manager - Bandung - TALENTPOOL INDONESIA

The incumbent will have a dual reporting line to The Plant Manager and Cluster Plant HR Manager and be responsible for the overall HR function in the Plant site with around 300 employees.


  • Industrial Relations: Provides timely and accurate recommendations to Cluster Plant HR and HR Director – Indonesia on workers aspirations and concerns at the plant and actively interfacing with employees.
  • Manage and develop reports: Provide coaching and ongoing support and advice to reports, Set MAP goals and follow up on progress as well as to ensure professional development of report
  • Compensation and Benefit Monitoring and Implementation: Responsible for monthly payroll verification as part of internal control both permanent and temporary employees
  • Company Policies Implementation: Assists the interpretation, review and recommendation of changes or improvements in human resources policies and procedures,
  • Employee Services: Ensure the smooth operation and all administrative functions of Jamsostek, Hospitalization, Life Inc, Medical out patient claim, Canteen, Office sanitation and messenger services.
  • Maintenance of HR Plant Documentations: Ensures the systematic and orderly maintenance of all HR records/ files to ensure that they are complete, accurate and updated
  • Human Resources Information Data: Ensures that the HR master data is accurate, complete and updated
  • Selection and Recruitment: Guide subordinate in hiring policies on non-managerial and supervisory position, recruitment both permanent and temporary employees in cooperation with department concerned
  • Training and Development: Guide the subordinates in originating training and development policy and program, coordinate the organization's requirements based on MAP – Development Plan


  • Bachelor degree (S1) in law, or psychology or management from a reputable university
  • At least  (5) years solid experience in a full range of human resource functions from multinational companies
  • Hand on experience in handling industrial relation in the plant site (Labour Dispute, Trade union, and involvement in CBA/PKB, etc).
  • Hands on Government Reportorial Requirements, Permit and License processes is preferable
  • A thorough understanding of personnel recruitment, selection, training, labor relations and negotiation, and HR Information Systems
  • Understanding Indonesia’s labor law and regulations
  • Good interpersonal, good communication skills, high analytical skill & fast leaner
  • Good command in English and computer literacy
  • Based in Bandung or surrounding areas
